Do I need to be law enforcement to take training at the Hawks Consulting Academy?

No, most of our training is open to anyone who wants to learn more about call detail records and digital forensics.

The CellHawk Certified User course in person and live online does not require I have a login to participate. Do I need a login to take the self-paced version?

Yes, live online and live in person classes are structured so we can use the training server for the class. The self-paced version is just that, self-paced.

What is the difference between the live online/ live in-person classes and the self-paced course?

Nothing. The content is the same as are all the exercises, quizzes, and the final exam.

My agency will not let me pay for training via credit card, do you accept purchase orders?

Yes, if you are interested in attending self-paced training but need to have your agency invoiced rather than paying at the time of purchase we can accommodate you. Unfortunately, due to the limitations of the platform, we are unable to give you instant access to the course. Please email training@hawksconsultingllc.com and be sure to include your name, agency, billing address, and who we should email the bill to. Someone will respond promptly with instructions.

I’m an attorney, is there a particular class that I should take?

Whether you are a prosecutor, defense attorney, plaintiff’s attorney, civil defense attorney, or family law practitioner, your cases will involve phone records and device extractions. We recommend you start at the basics and move forward from there. There is a lot of misinformation on both sides of the aisle so a good foundation will help you assess the evidence in your case.

You have the flexibility to access course materials, lectures, and assignments whenever and wherever it suits you. How long do I have access to course materials?

Upon enrollment, you will have access to course materials for a specified period, typically ranging from several weeks to several months, depending on the course. After the access period expires, you may have the option to extend access or enroll in additional courses to continue your learning journey.

Can I receive a certificate upon completing a course?

Yes, upon successful completion of a course, you will receive a certificate of completion to recognize your achievement. This certificate can serve as proof of your participation and completion of the course, which may be valuable for professional development and career advancement purposes. If you are attending the CellHawk Certified User course(s) you will receive a certificate from Hawks Consulting as well as a certificate from LeadsOnline.

Can I mix and match blocks of learning?

Generally, yes but keep in mind the blocks were built specifically with the overarching learning goals in mind. If you are taking the CellHawk Certified User course(s) then they must be taken together, and those blocks are not available individually.
